Life was almost perfect until he left them.
Will was a good man, torn and confused.
Alyss was bitter, hurt and lonely.
Harriet could never see what she always knew was there.

Manuscripts of the Mind is a series of poetry and prose dedicated to and inspired by the fantastical world of the bipolar mind and how one journeys through the metamorphosis of one’s state of living to a state of being. This series also consists of concrete poetry that paints an intruiging vizualisation of the author’s interpretation of words and the meaning of life.
Bipolar disorder and mental health issues are, to date, largely misconceived and still a taboo subject in modern-day society. Manuscripts of the Mind is an open book to introduce bipolarism in a different light: through its poems of creative expression and linguistic choreography, rather than viewership through an analytical and pragmatic approach.
In the year 2041, a law was passed stating that all crimes, debts and unfulfilled sentences could be traded for either the simple exchange of free labour, the exchange of personal favours for those in power, or for the increasingly popular exchange of a wholly domesticated existence measured by the severity of the previous outstanding liability.
With the criminal justice system all but abolished, this became a way of life in England, none challenging that which was the norm: trading life and time for gain, prosperity and eventual emancipation.
For once in history, captivity and servitude were valued by all parties.
And freedom was the myth and secret it was always thought to be.
Inside you will find seven simple steps to improve the value of your business, big or small.
